Our Story

How It All Began - 21 August 2019

Our love story began halfway across the world in a charming little town called Mannheim. We met outside the Baroque Palace, standing in line for our student IDs (very romantic, we know). We went to the same university back home but never crossed paths until we flew 15,000 km away. Apparently, all great love stories start with a bit of jet lag and German bureaucracy.

First Date - 11 February 2022

Our first date was a total success! Well planned, well dressed, and full of charm. We began our evening at the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, then headed to Hennessy Rooftop for a drink. Somehow, in all the fun, we completely forgot to snap a single photo!

Made It Official - 10 June 2022

On a Friday evening, sitting in the car by the beach, Bailey finally found the courage to ask Dea out (for a second time). Luckily for him, she said yes!

First Overseas Trip - 7 October 2023

Our trip to Kosova and Albania was a truly unforgettable adventure, filled with exciting experiences, mouthwatering traditional dishes, and cherished moments with family. Along the way, we even visited the birthplace of the Sadedin family in Gjirokaster, Albania.

The Proposal - 7 September 2024

What started as a “welcome to Melbourne” staycation turned out to be the greatest surprise of all! After a morning at the zoo and dinner 89 stories above the city at the Eureka Skydeck, we made our way back to our room at the Park Hyatt Hotel. With shaky hands and a hidden ring, Bailey popped the question and Dea said yes!

Moved In Together - 17 October 2024

After weeks of rental inspections, we finally found the place where we first truly experienced the joys of Ikea flat packs and hosting board game nights!
